Three halls, many operators, rental spaces, events and Aatos Café.
Within the rugged stone walls of the WSOY building, in the former cinema, beats the heart of a unique cultural space. Vanha 123, with the cozy and delicious Aatos Café in its lobby, is a meeting place for a diverse cultural offering.
The entire 300 square meter space is available for rent, including three auditorium-style cinema halls and a lobby café. The halls, which seat approximately 90 people, can also be rented individually. The catering service is provided by Aatos Café, which tailors a table setting to suit any occasion.
All premises have liquor licenses.
The premises host cultural events ranging from the Porvoo Jazz Festival to rap clubs, art exhibitions and theater productions.

AATOS CAFÉ
Wellness-, culture- and event café
Aatos Café serves handmade cafe treats, breakfast, lunch, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, high-quality coffee and tea, organic wines, beers, and drinks from the local brewers and small businesses in Porvoo. Aatos is also at your service during events!
THREE HALLS
Vanha 123 has three halls for about 80-100 people!
1. Hall has tiered seating that can be adjusted according to the number of people and the atmosphere.
2. Hall has three different levels that can be configured, for example, into conference table groups.
3. Hall has a separate small bar and tiered stands where the stage can also be placed in the middle of the audience.
The facilities are rented for events, meetings and private functions. The space can be rented as a whole or as individual rooms.
EVENT TECHNOLOGY
You can rent basic sound systems for events.
Vanha 123's halls have atmospheric basic lighting and LED color spots, the use of which is included in the rent. In addition, the building has sound equipment for rent. Check out the equipment for rent here: Rental equipment.
PRIVATE EVENTS
In addition to events, the premises can be used from private functions to birthday parties.
If you are interested in organizing a private event, please also request a quote for the catering you would like when contacting us. Aatos Café's staff will tailor the event to your wishes. You can also ask us for suitable performers for your event.
ACCESSIBILITY & SAFE SPACE
When arriving to Vanha 123 cultural space, the entrance thresholds have been removed by building a ramp that meets accessibility standards. The cultural space also has an accessible toilet on the same floor.
An assistant is always admitted to the event free of charge with the person being assisted. A person who uses an assistive device or needs an assistant can purchase an assistant ticket to the event, the normal price ticket includes free admission to the events for the assistant. The assistant policy also applies to interpreters. Assistance and guide dogs are welcome at our events.
Vanha 123 adheres to the principles of a safe space, we do not accept inappropriate behavior or discrimination in our premises. Inappropriate comments, hate speech, violence or other harassment are not allowed at our events in any form. We require our staff, partners and subcontractors to commit to the same values.
